Join our Team of Independent Fire Consultants

Riskmonitor is one of the largest providers of Fire Risk Assessments in the UK and still growing.

We’ve been trading for 20 years so we’re well established. We specialise in large, multi-sited organisations such as MOD, Sam Smiths Brewery, DVSA, DEFRA, Virgin Media and the Home Office. We also deal with a number of Housing Associations and Local Authorities and although we’re based in South Wales, our customer base requires UK wide coverage.

As I said, Riskmonitor is continually growing and that’s where I believe you may be able to help us.

We’re looking to expand our pool of Associate Fire Risk Assessors to continue to offer our customers the best advice and support we can.  Would you be interested in joining our team?

Where we can help you. We offer as much or as little work as you want, in any area you are comfortable to cover. We offer great rates on a job by job basis. We pay travel expenses in line with HMRC guidelines. We don’t expect you to offer any more than your expertise, and diligence. In return, we offer you the flexibility to work when you want and earn as much as you want.

We currently facilitate over 3000 FRA’s per year and all work is allocated by our Operations Team. They provide the assessment details, i.e. building type, size of building and fee for the work. You have the visibility to accept or decline, no obligation, we can work alongside your schedule and fit work in around your current commitments.

Our Associates are fully trained on our systems and have access to our web based and mobile APP assessment tools.

We’re only looking to attract the best and that’s why I’m reaching out personally.

We understand you’re already self-employed and carrying out assessments for your own clients, and we don’t want to change that. But if you’d like to being part of our excellent team as well, here’s what you’ll need to have;

  • SP205 accreditation from a recognised third party awarding body such as Warrington, BAFE, IFE, FIA etc.
  • A track record of experience easily demonstrated on a CV
  • Professional Indemnity insurance of at least £1m
